Fresh from our farm to your home, one taste of Allegheny
Valley farmstead yogurt will take you back to a country atmosphere where
the rich, smooth texture and taste is as fresh as a May morning. Our
pampered, grass fed Brown Swiss cows are exercised daily. This extra
attention ensures that our Brown Swiss cows produce the highest grade of
whole milk that is needed to produce our farm fresh premium yogurt.
Allegheny Valley premium yogurt is ma de
right on the farm using only the finest and freshest ingredients
available including non-homogenized pasteurized grade A whole milk,
natural fresh fruit puree, raw sugar and probiotics to give our
customers the rich flavor and healthy choice they demand.
Allegheny Valley is owned and operated by Mark & Kim
Weber. Mark is a seventh generation dairy farmer following in the
footsteps of his ancestors. Much time is spent caring for a 70 head
dairy herd as well as raising broiler chickens sold on the live market
in New York City. In 2001 Mark and Kim opened the Cozy Corner Country
Store, a retail store and greenhouse selling perennials and annuals,
locally grown fruits and vegetables as they are in season.
 In
2002, a selection of USDA approved, hormone / antibiotic-free fresh
beef, pork, chicken, turkey and lamb meats were added. In 2007,
Mark obtained a degree from Penn State University in cultured dairy
products and added the yogurt line the following year. Mark and Kim
strive to produce a unique, value added product and offer tours of their
operation by appointment only. We manufacture and sell our own
delicious farm fresh yogurt. Our yogurt is all natural and rich in
probiotics. We offer a large variety of flavors including: vanilla,
peach, raspberry, strawberry, key lime and plain. Our vanilla yogurt is
gluten-free. |
